Current laser technologies rely on semiconductor materials that require high-temperature manufacturing processes, leading to high energy consumption and environmental impact. In this interview, Iván Mora Seró, Professor of Applied Physics at University Jaume I, explains how the SUPERLASER project is addressing this challenge by developing innovative perovskite-based materials that can be produced at much lower temperatures. The project aims to create more sustainable, recyclable, and energy-efficient laser technologies for the future.
